Built in 1906, the Civic Theatre is a Beaux Arts style venue that is believed to be the oldest surviving theatre in New Orleans. Though it has operated under many different names since then, the theatre itself has sat idle for the past several years. But now, the city’s newest and most flexible entertainment and event space has opened its doors.
