During a larger renovation project with the World of Coca-Cola in Atlanta, Coca-Cola approached us with a request to revamp their Scent Discovery experience. As their owner’s representation and scenic fabrication and AV integration firm, we gladly took on the challenge and, in just four months, developed a new interactive experience that would engage visitors' senses in new and unexpected ways.
Our initial consultations with Coca-Cola, led by our Chief Experience Officer and Executive Project Director, helped to refine their vision for the new Scent Discovery experience. To bring this vision to life, we collaborated with our partners, the renowned exhibit designers at Local Projects, who helped us to create a compelling story and 3D renderings.
From there, our Solomon NEXT and Solomon HERE teams got to work in our Orlando studio on technical design, A/V design, prototyping, and testing a durable experience that would withhold high-volume traffic from young children and curious adults.
Despite the tight deadline, we were able to deliver a high-quality, cost-effective interactive by March 2023. The new Scent Discovery experience allows visitors to follow their noses and discover unexpected destinations, familiar memories, and new flavor journeys. The journey starts in the Scent Library, where visitors can learn about five scent categories: citrus, fruity, floral, woody, and spicy. Using their favorite scent profiles, visitors can uncover new beverage favorites from around the world.
Overall, we're proud to have helped Coca-Cola create an immersive and engaging experience that reflects their iconic brand and delights visitors from around the globe.
