The National WWII Museum The USS Tang Submarine Experience

Solomon Group was thrilled to be engaged in a unique exhibit at The National WWII Museum that brings visitors deep below sea level in, “Final Mission: The USS Tang Submarine Experience.”

This riveting, 11-minute “war patrol” is an interactive journey in which visitors man the battle stations of actual crewmembers aboard the most successful submarine in World War II. Working in concert with Gallagher & Associates, Cortina Productions, RomeAntics Productions and Available Light, Solomon Group Partner Jonathan Foucheaux led the technical direction for the exhibit’s A/V integration.

With six Christie Digital projectors casting 360° of HD content, a captivating 36-channel soundscape and 16 computers to generate the imagery and manage the 4D experience, Final Mission is one of the most immersive and technically complex attractions in the Gulf South.
