Dauphin Island Sea Lab
Solomon Group, with main offices in New Orleans and Orlando, is passionate about projects that educate and foster a greater appreciation for ecological conservation in our Gulf Coast.
Solomon Group supported Dauphin Island's Sea Lab revitalization through scenic fabrication, graphic production, and installation of mosaic and mural walls, designed by our partners at Main Street Design.
Our team of estimators and fabricators were eager to support Dauphin Island, and worked closely with Main Street Design and owners to value-engineer our scope, and create iterative estimations at each phase of design. When Dauphin Island opened in August 2023, we enjoyed stories of locals in "LA" (Lower Alabama) returning to the Dauphin Island Sea Lab of their childhood, and seeing a refreshed new learning environment.
