Mississippi Arts + Entertainment Experience

Elvis Presley. Oprah Winfrey. Morgan Freeman. Tennessee Williams. A new museum in the City of Meridian, Mississippi, The Mississippi Arts + Entertainment Experience (“THE MAX”), brings to life the legendary artistic stories and contributions of these iconic native Mississippians together in one vivid attraction.

Working alongside the exhibit design team at Gallagher & Associates, Solomon Group was selected to provide exhibit fabrication, A/V systems integration, lighting, and graphics production services to THE MAX.

Our Fabrication team built the museum’s exhibits and scenic environments and the multi-story exhibit space, a two-story rotunda that serves as the museum’s signature Hall of Fame. In addition, our team measured, documented, mounted, and installed more than 180 artifacts.

Solomon Group’s expert technologists provided an extensive array of innovative A/V systems design, integration, and automation programming services including creative LED displays on custom-fabricated curved walls, interactive tables, touch screen displays, video monitors, an extensive audio system, a 4K theater projector with a curved screen, lighting installation and focus throughout the galleries, custom projections and more.
